Father's Day & Birthday Card with Hero Arts

This was a fun card to make!
To celebrate my step dad's birthday and father's day, I created this large tri-fold card using many different stamp sets.

Stamps used:  Hero Arts Monthly Hero July 2019, Hero Arts Monthly Hero June 2018, Lawn Fawn "Happy Happy Happy", Sunny Studio "Bold Balloons"

All of the the components were stamped or blended with Gina K inks.

Birthday Card with The Stamping Village

Masculine cards are the hardest.  I kept this one simple and the "Happy Birthday" stamp set from The Stamping Village was perfect.

I stamped the balloons in Copic friendly ink and set about coloring each with a range of Blues.  Then I covered each with a layer of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew.

Mother's Day Card with Altenew

Hello and thank you for visiting!

For this Mother's Day card, I started by creating a rainbow background using Aloha Watercolors.  Then heat embossed the flower from "Best Mom" by Altenew with Versafine and clear embossing powder.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp "Mom's Meadow" and was also heat embossed.

Steps To Create this Card:
- Used "Carnival Cupcakes" by Mama Elephant stamp set
- Stamped with Taylored Expressions Oreo ink and colored with Polychromos 231, 233, 129, 280, - 283
- Fussy cut and edges darkened with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker
- Masked off a strip and then Ink blended Gina K inks in Red Hot, Tangerine Twist, Wild Dandelion, Lucky Clover, Blue Raspberry, Wild Lilac and Passionate Pink with Taylored Expressions brushes to create rainbow background
