Sympathy Card with Hero Arts

These are never easy to make cards, but I know the recipient will appreciate the sentiment.

I stamped the "Leafy Vines" from Hero Arts with Versafine and then the sentiment from "Fresh Freesia" by Altenew.  Next, I added some Hero Arts pearls and matted the card front with some matching purple paper.

Thank you Card with MFT and Concord & 9th

Today's card was inspired by MFT's Color Challenge 156.

Here I used the Concord & 9th Snowflakes Turnabout with Gina K inks.  I then die cut the MFT Thank You from the panel and popped it up with a few more die cuts underneath.  Quick and easy peasy!  This card was to share my appreciation to a neighbor that came by to help me move furniture.

Birthday Card with Hero Arts

My first card making in my new (temporary) home!

My dad's birthday is coming up and I needed something simple since the majority of my supplies are still packed.  I also needed something masculine.  Hero Arts My Monthly Hero to the rescue!

I used a few stamps from the 2020 August kit along with a sentiment from the 2019 July kit.

All were stamped with Hero Arts Intense Black and colored with Polychromos pencils.

I am entering this into A Blog Named Hero's September Challenge:

Have a great day!  Thanks for visiting!

Moving Fun!

After living in Hawaii for 5 years, it became apparent that we needed to move back to the mainland; mainly due to healthcare.  I thought it was a lot of working moving from California to Hawaii, but now we decided to go to Tennessee!

After lots of prep and packing, we loaded up a 20 foot container:

And loaded up our truck and trailer:

for the voyage across the Pacific.  Meanwhile, my husband and myself along with our 2 cats and 1 dog took 3 flights followed by a 2 hour drive to get to our new home.

And so far we love it!
