Birthday Card with Mama Elephant - Rain or Shine

Hello and welcome to my Blog!

For this card, I colored a piece of MFT vellum using Turquoise Sea dye ink by Gina K.  Then I broke out the "Rain or Shine" Simon Says Stamp Stamptember special stamp set by Mama Elephant.  I colored everything with Copics and stamped some rain drops with Gina K Blue Raspberry ink.

Here are the Copic colors I used:

Kitty colored with E30, E33, E35, RV11
Chick colored with Y02, Y15, YR04
Flower colored with Y04, Y15, RV11, RV04
Grass colored with YG03, YG17, YG67
Sun Y02, Y04, Y15

I am entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Whatever the Weather.

Birthday Card with Gina K Mandala Maker

I've had the "Mandala Maker" stamp set from Gina K for a while now and finally got up the courage to attempt a mandala.

I think it turned out pretty well :)

I used the following rainbow colors of Gina K Inks to stamp each piece:  Blue Raspberry, Wild Lilac, Lucky Clover, Wild Dandelion, Tangerine Twist and Red Hot.  The sentiment is from Gina K's "Wreath Builder" stamp set.

I am entering this into the Gina K March Monthly Mix Challenge

Let me know what you think!  Thanks for looking!

Thank You Card with Altenew

For this card I used Altenew's Sweetest Peas stamp set.

Stamped with flowers with Hero Arts Intense Black and then colored them with Copics in V01, V06, YG25 and YG17.  After I finished coloring, I went over the image with a black marker and then added a shadow with C1.  Then I decided it needed some sparkle.  I couldn't find my Wink of Stella since almost everything is currently boxed up for an impeding house move, but I did have a Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll pen that laid down a nice thick layer of glitter!

Thanks for looking today!

Birthday Card with Concord & 9th

While I had the "Hello Lovely" from Concord & 9th stamp set out, I also decided to go a completely different direction for another birthday card.

Here I kept it simple and just heat embossed the image on black cardstock using Hero Art's Purple Sparkle embossing powder.

The sentiment is from Queen & Company and I heat embossed that using some silver embossing powder.  I finished it off with a bit of Wink of Stella on the main flower and called it good.  The picture doesn't show it well, but the purple sparkle embossing powder is quite sparkly!

Anniversary Card Cross Stitch Card

This is my first card cross stitched on paper!  I used the Cross Stitch Rectangle die from My Favorite Things along with DMC Pearl Floss and a pattern that I found on Pinterest.

The You & Me die cut from Echo Park was perfect!  I cut it from some gold cardstock which I also used behind the panel.  I stamped the Happy and Day using matching gold ink. All in all I was very happy with how this card turned out.
